Become a Foster Parent

Foster parenting is perhaps the most selfless form of charitable work one can undertake. And it can be the most rewarding, because foster parents can literally see the benefits of their love and hard work. But it is often challenging. And foster parents need to begin their work with not only a sense of compassion, but with a sense of humor, commitment, training, support, and with their eyes wide open to the realities of the system in order to feel successful.

Everyone involved with foster children - judges, law guardian, caseworkers, CASA volunteers - even the parents of abused and neglected children - understand how important it is to have loving, nurturing foster parents care for their children.
